True Vision
Pick up a True Vision hate incident pack. True Vision is Leicestershire Police’s alternative way to report homophobic or transphobic hate incidents. The packs contain a reporting form along with advice and useful information. These packs can be found at various locations around Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland including:
* Leicester LGBT Centre
* Gay Commercial Venues
* Libraries
You do not have to leave your personal details if you prefer to report your incident anonymously. The information you provide can help the police to build up a picture of where and when homophobic and transphobic incidents are taking place.
Hate Incident Monitoring Project
Working in partnership, Leicestershire County Council is committed to creating an inclusive county and believes that everyone who lives or works in or visits Leicestershire has the right to be treated with dignity and respect and to live without fear of hatred.
If you report an incident we will record it only for statistical reasons within the County Council’s Hate Incident Monitoring Database. If you want help to take action, state this in the monitoring form and a council officer will contact you within 10 working days to find out more. We will not give personal details about you to anyone, including the police or any other organisation, without asking you first. Where legal action is taken as a result of the incident you may be asked to give evidence in court, tribunal or inquest.
